Home Remedies To Treat Varicose Veins

Varicose veins can be embarrassing. They can also be painful and cause tingling and burning sensations in your legs. If you are suffering from varicose veins then you may be wondering what you can do at home to reduce them. Below are some of the best home remedies you can use.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most effective remedies for varicose veins because it helps to increase circulation to the veins. In order to reap the benefits of this treatment you should apply apple cider vinegar to the affected areas and massage it for at least fifteen minutes, twice per day.

Cayenne Pepper Drink

Cayenne pepper can be consumed to improve circulation to the veins and reduce their size. Due to its high vitamin C content and the bioflavonoids it contains, blood circulation will be increased. You can make a cayenne pepper drink by adding a teaspoon of cayenne powder to one cup of hot water and then stirring it. Drink the mixture at least three times per day. After a couple of months you should see a significant difference in how your varicose veins look.

Vitamin E Oil

Massaging the skin regularly with vitamin E oil is a great way to reduce varicose veins. Vitamin E oil not only nourishes the skin it is an antioxidant which means it helps with the removal of toxins from the skin. You should massage your varicose veins for at least fifteen minutes with the oil daily. You will start noticing the difference after a few weeks.

Garlic, Orange and Olive Oil Treatment

Garlic is a good remedy for varicose veins. It helps to remove toxins that are present in the blood vessels and improves circulation to the veins. When combined with the citric acids in orange and the vitamin E in olive oil, it significantly reduces the appearance of varicose veins. You can use the treatment in the following way.

  1. Slice and dice at least six garlic cloves.
  2. Place the cloves into a glass jar.
  3. Juice three oranges and pour the liquid into the glass jar.
  4. Add at least three tablespoons of olive oil to the mixture.
  5. Seal the jar and let the mixture permeate for half a day.
  6. After half a day has passed. Shake the bottle to blend the mixture evenly.
  7. Massage your varicose veins with the mixture at night.
  8. Repeat this process for a few months and you will start seeing results.

The most important thing you need to do when using any of the treatments above is to use them consistently and have patience. It may take a few weeks before improvement becomes visible. To learn more, visit with the team at Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology.

They showed me why my different DIY treatments weren't working, and they offered helpful solutions to fix the issue. It was really neat to see how great they were to work with.
